At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.
Matthew 11:25-26 ESV
What has God hidden from humanity? He has hidden many truths because of the wisdom of human understanding. This is not to say wisdom and knowledge is evil, but rather that dependence on human understanding alone can only lead to blind leadership. For if what is true based upon human standards was our moral compass, then there would be no need for a God. Especially a loving one. For if God were not true, everything Christians believe and live upon would be the ultimate lie and farce of humanity. An utter waste of time and motivation.
We know that the knowledge that man can come up with is not worthless but is God inspired. However if we being finite beings think that an infinite God’s wisdom is worthless, then who is the real fool?
I cannot stand aside and see humanity as an intelligent and superior species unless I see them in the midst of their creator. Many think that the existence of a God diminishes the existence of humanity and its accomplishments, however the reality is; God’s existence proves the uniqueness of the human frame and mind. It is a wonderful thing and worthy to be praised. If we cannot humble ourselves and allow God to show us the most deep and wonderful things about heaven through the simplest of manners, how can we begin to frame and understand the deepness of the human heart and mind?
What did you think was possible when man was allowed to choose? Was it evil alone? No, but rather the option of choice allows for the opportunity of goodness and righteousness. If we continue down a path of righteousness based on human standards we will fall into a pit of despair. But if we humble ourselves, to see what God is doing, even in the inexperienced and uneducated. We will begin to see the true unlimited resources of the kingdom be explored before our eyes. Righteousness and knowledge only grows when humility is allowed to reign.
It is a wonderful thing to be ignorant at times, but ignorance of the truth is like a man who drinks bleach, thinking it will cure his infections. Let ignorance be put aside for the righteousness of knowledge and growth. For the leaning upon God for knowledge is the only way we as a species progress and become more like our heavenly Father.
Set aside your differences and see that God is supreme and in doing so, you will see why He made you the way you are; to change this world for the better! Get it together, and let’s change this world for God!
